First, let me get this out of the way: This website glows in the dark.

And with that, I am Brantley Harris, web developer, programmer, designer, and front-end extraordinaire.

Here are some of my development values:

• Open Source is well and truly good, not necessary, but good.
• MVC web development is necessary for anything bigger than a few pages.
• Python is the very best programming language ever invented... so far.
• Javascript is a tangly beast that must be tamed, hopefully by jQuery.
• Write like no one can read, read like no one can write.
• Test driven development isn't a fad, it proves itself correct.

And here are some of my intellectual values:

• The wise are ignorant with questions, fools ignorant without. Therefore, I will always tell you when I don't get a joke.
• Flattery and lies help no one. Therefore, when asked for my opinion, I will give it; be ready.
• Your excuses are your own. Therefore, when I am late, there was a good reason, but I don't expect you to care.
