About Me

Long ago...

There was once another boy named Brantley Harris. He spent most of his youth trying to figure out where trees came from, the details and eccentricities of squirrel society, and how to predict the weather with perfect accuracy.

He lived outside of a rural town, and found most of the people there to be rather two-dimensional. The people that lived there were all very sad, and spent most of their time too distracted to notice, or wallowing in self-absorbed cries of torture. They moved in such predictable patterns, that he found the drama that entrapped them to be ridiculous.

So the old, young Brantley moved away at a young age and built himself a castle deep in the woods. He labored day and night to build it, drawing up plan after plan to ensure that the castle was of the finest quality, and then moving, carving, and placing every stone.

Eventually his castle became well known throughout the country. It was lauded as a wonder of the world. People started to come in droves to gaze at the perfectly designed towers, beautifully intricate trimming, and homey, but modern décor.

So he did what any castle owner would do; he threw the most wonderful parties known throughout the land. He invited the best artists and thinkers of the time to enjoy themselves and each-other's company and conversation.

As for me...

You may have already guessed my name is Brantley Harris. I am a web developer residing in Chicago, Illinois. I sleep in Lincoln Square, and I work in Evanston.

I am fond of most every form of the cognitive studies, including Philosophy, Physics, History, Politics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology, etc. I find that I can usually hold my own in even rather detailed discussions within most realms.

I am also quite enamoured by most art forms, mainly Graphic Design / Visual Arts, Music, and Theatre. It's okay not to like what I like, but you'd better have an opinion.
